We have recently announced the release of Lava E-Tab Z7H and and the tablet was available from Flipkart with a price of Rs. 5,499. Before buying the Lava E-Tab z7H I will provide you the detailed review of Lava E-Tab Z7H and you can decide whether you have to spend money to this tablet or not.
Lava E-Tab Z7H design review
The Lava E-Tab Z7H is designed excellently with neat finish and people can't identify the price of the tablet by looking into it. They will not believe that the tablet in your hand is available just under 5,499. The tablet is 7 inch in size and fits perfectly in your pockets. The currently available accessory is Molife Black cover and can also be bought from Flipkart. The lack of basic hard key is definitely a curse because if you need to exit from an app or increasing the volume, every time you need to press into the display.
Lava E-Tab Z7H hardware review
Now I am going to the core part of the tablet which is the speed of Lava E- Tab Z7H. The tablet is powered by 1.2 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM. The speed of the tablet looks good. When we play HD videos the Lava E-Tab doesn't finds any lags and video plays with good quality. But you can't open many apps at same time because processor speed doesn't allows this. Touch Response also feels handsome and requires only less multiple attempts. But when running heavy apps the E-Tab touch screen is less sensitive and it takes about 5 seconds to respond due to low RAM. Display quality is not so impressive and I feel the tablet needs a better resolution. Video calling using Skype works nicely although the poor camera quality effects the calling. I think the Lava E-Tab needs a good camera rather than old 0.3 MP secondary camera and remember that tablets with similar price packs with 2 MP camera.
The speaker of Lava E-Tab Z7H will gives you the clear and loud sounds. When looking into connectivity, Lava E-Tab Z7H connects to internet easily using WiFi. The tablet detects the WiFi signal in a single attempt. I think almost all USB dongles are supported by Lava E-Tab Z7H and the TATA photon which comes with the tablet works nicely. But multiple attempts was needed to detect the dongle and sometimes the tablet hangs out during connection. Also some users are reporting that tablet doesn't detects some dongles like Micromax dongle (I have not tried this). Also USB support is good and the tablet doesn't hangs when we use a 4GB pen drive. The battery is not so impressive but still good with 2,800 mAh battery. Sometimes the tablets drains out very fastly especially during the usage of apps. Also the tab gets heated during continuous use.The lack of HDMI output is another disadvantage.
Lava E-Tab Z7H software review
The Android ICS OS is definitely a gift and almost all the features of OS is available in Lava E-Tab Z7H. Also the preloaded books is good. Google Play is compatible and we have downloaded Temple Run game from Google Play and the game works perfectly. It takes some time to install the apps but after installation the apps works perfectly. We also download some other apps from Google Play and until now we doesn't find any compatibility issues.
I think if you need a mid range tablet, then Lava E-Tab is a good choice because it have some really good specification. Don't compare the performance of the tablet with Samsung Galaxy Tab or Apple iPad because we can't expect a tablet with a price under 7k to perform similar to a tablet which is having a price of 20k+. I have bought the tablet. When I pressed the power button it shows an android animated symbol for 10min. & stays there for ever. What to write more review about this device? When it will open I will write the rest of the review. The worst device ever had in my life. I am going to return this device.

DeleteI think it's problem with your piece. Contact the dealer where you purchase the Lava tablet and asks for a new piece.

1) How to access the 14 preloaded Mcgraw Hill books in this tab(free),There are only 3 preloaded books(moon reader) in my brand new tab.I have spoken with Flipkart,as well as Lava service center,they simply don`t seem to have any idea.The only answer i am getting is we will get back to you in the next 24 hours.(countless times)
2)The tab hangsup every time i connect my Tata photon plus,and unable to start it using the normal start button,I have to use the restart button on the side.
Should i ask for a replacement?

The tablet hangs up problem may be with your piece and contact the support center immediately and asks for a replacement.
