The revolutionized cheap Aakash tablet

that tablet will be provided to Indian students completely free.
At
the release of Aakash Tablet Indian minister Kapil Sibal have promised
that the tablet will be provided to Indian students for $35 (half of
original prize). But with the huge success of the tablet, minister is now
looking forward to provide the Aakash tablet completely free for
students. This is a really exciting news of students all over India. The
tablet will be provided free with 50:50 subsidy. This means that
government will be provided 50% subsidy and the educational institution
in which student is studying has to pay the rest 50%.
The
Aakash tablet was discovered by IIT professors and currently Datawind
has an authority to create Aakash tablet. So the Government is also
thinking about the possibility of manufacturing Aakash tablet inside
India so that the tablet cost can further be reduced. The minister also
added that the Government has a plan to manufacture the components of
Aakash indigenously. For this the Government officials already have done
an meeting with Bharath Electronics to produce the components of Aakash
tablet. Producing components indigenously can help to create more
Aakash tablets in coming months and can avoid the heavy booking.
